Hello,
I'm using the latest Minimizor version v1.8 but when I switch from ET to
workbench the gamma stays bright and doesn't dim, but worse when I switch back
to ET the gamma goes back to low and needs resetting back up to what it was via
the game prefs.

Monitor = samsung T220 dvi connection
workbench = 1680 x 1050
ATI radaeon HD3870 catalyst 8.12
game = 1152 x 864

Is there any solution to this problem ?

Does it maybe have to do with r_ignorehwgamma command in ET?
Cause I think on 0 the gamma in ET stays in Windows and when you go
back ET turns dark, but it does depend on the video drivers.

It is already set 0, using 1 keeps it dark all the time with no way of altering it.
Drivers are the latest ATI driver as stated above, the last ones to work
correctly where catalyst 7.11.
Any other idea's ?

Well like I said it might be a driver related problem, I'm using a Nvidia 8800GT and
with putting it on 0 my ET gamma will idd be in Windows and on return to ET it
stays
at the same gamma. Long time ago I had a video card where the same thing happened
as what you got and that was Video driver related, I ended up making a bind in ET
putting gamma back to old one.
